The Services Executive is a key advisor to Microsoft’s most strategic State & Local Government customers in central region. The focus of the Services EAs a professional translator, you will work on documents, websites, technical materials, legal texts, medical reports, marketing content, and more. Translate content from the source language into the target language while maintaining accuracy, context, and style.
Ensure cultural relevance and linguistic consistency across different types of content.
Use translation tools (CAT tools, glossaries, and style guides) to enhance efficiency and maintain terminology accuracy.
Proofread and edit translations to ensure high-quality output.
Collaborate with project managers and linguists to meet client-specific requirements and deadlines.
Stay updated on industry trends and linguistic developments to maintain translation excellence.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and follow company guidelines on data security.
Fluency in at least two languages (native proficiency in the target language preferred).
Proven translation experience in a specific industry (legal, medical, technical, marketing, finance, etc.).
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and linguistic accuracy.
Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast, Smartcat) is a plus.
Excellent research skills to ensure correct terminology usage.
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
